Developing and Assessing Learning Outcomes for Student Leadership Programs
Venue: Online Webcast
|Event Date/Time: May 04, 2011|
Writing and assessing learning outcomes is an ongoing challenge for student affairs professionals. Learning outcomes are increasingly required by accrediting organizations, but student affairs professionals largely lack training on writing comprehensive and quantitative outcomes that lead to clear assessment measurements. Join us to learn about a model that can be used across student affairs to develop learning outcomes for a variety of student leadership programs. Participants will receive sample learning outcomes and guidelines for applying them to their own institution.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Student affairs professionals responsible for orientation, first-year student experience, peer mentor, and student leadership programs, as well as academic leaders involved in student leadership programs, will benefit from this program. Please note that this program is specifically designed for institutions with minimal experience drafting and assessing learning outcomes, or institutions looking to completely redevelop their procedure for drafting and assessing learning outcomes.
