ETE brings together IT executives, system architects, software developers, and business users at every level to foster collaboration and idea exchange that provides a holistic perspective of the application and impact of emerging technologies throughout an organization. ETE highlights those technologies that are changing the economies of software as the emerging role of the ‘devops’ in agile development technologies is spotlighted.

The event this year has grown to feature over 50 presentations and panel discussions over two days. ETE attracts industry leaders in emerging technologies such as Java, Spring, Groovy, Ruby, Cloud Computing, and Mobile.

2011 keynote speakers include Stormy Peters, head if developer engagement at Mozilla and Molly Holzschlag, who heads up developer relations for Opera Software. Flushing out the speaker roster are experts and practitioners at the forefront of transforming business through technology. Presenters include Dan Allen, principal software engineer at JBoss: Josh Clark, author of Tapworthy: Designing iPhone Interfaces for Delight & Usability; Yehuda Katz, SproutCore Project Team; Chris Richardson, head of cloud development at SpringSource; Ted Neward, athor of Effective Enterprise Java and Co-Author of Professional F# and many more recognized experts in open source and emerging technology.
