Defeating the global threat of Improvised explosive devices (IEDs) is a priority to NATO and Allied nations, especially in theatre of operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and other hotspots around the world. A Multinational CIED Initiative is needed more than ever, to establish a unified approach to defeat the Network, and to develop a comprehensive Doctrine and Performance-based C-IED Training.

This Years’ event will be focused on developing a multinational training capability, Collecting, fusing, sharing and dissemination of actionable information to the troops in theatre. We will also examine the current countermeasures deployed in theatre and the Future global IED threats and emerging technologies.

The event will gather some of the top experts from Government, Military and industry for a 3days workshops, exhibitions, and live demonstrations. You will also have the opportunity to attend two training seminars on Weapons Intelligence Team (WIT), and the Counter-Suicide Bomber Operations and Planning.

Exhibition and Live Demonstrations: MKDS Workshops division will offer a platform to 30 – 40 exhibitors leading the way in technology pursuits, to enhance and expedite the capability of the Warfighter to counter the ever-changing threat of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). Renowned experts from NATO member nations, EDA, and Academia will be invited to attend the 3 days event. Some of the technologies that you will see include Jamming systems, Robotic platforms, Force protection, Training and Simulation, Biometrics, Access control, Stand-off detection and Counter-Terrorism solutions. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to demonstrate¹ their capabilities to senior buyers and decision makers attending the workshop and exhibition. A private room in the exhibition area will be available to vendors for one-on-one meetings with senior buyers and decision makers, which will be arranged two weeks prior to the event by our event team executive. ** Free access to the exhibition area (Registration required).
