The Provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, as well as the Office of the Ombudsman of New Brunswick, the Nova Scotia Review Office, the Offices of the Information and Privacy Commissioners of PEI and New Brunswick, and the Halifax Regional Municipality are proud to present the 7th Annual Maritime Access & Privacy Workshop. This workshop is a great opportunity to meet, network and share ideas with colleagues from the access and privacy community across the Maritime Provinces. This event will be held on June 2nd and 3rd, 2011 and returns to the elegant Westin Nova Scotian in Halifax, NS.

This event continues to grow since its conception, from creating an A&P community in the Maritime Provinces to identifying challenges and sharing solutions. As our government(s) become more open, new changes will take place; it has never been clearer that the Maritime Access & Privacy community is "Getting It To Work".

Evaluations - You spoke, and we listened!

The conference steering committee takes the evaluations very seriously, and we are happy to announce a few changes to this year's program - changes that were made because of your comments!

1. Conference date - we are having the event earlier in the month of June - we do not want to compete with other events, or your summer plans.
2. Case Studies - many of you stated that you would like to see more "how-to" session, as well as theoretical presentations! We will specifically seek out case studies, where presenters can not only tell you what was done, but how.
3. Facilitators - this year's conference will feature facilitators in each room, ensuring sessions begin and end on schedule.

We also want you to be a part of the conference's creative process - please visit the agenda page and answer our call for submissions. Perhaps you are our next breakout session leader!

Join your colleagues today and open doors to new and exciting ideas in the world of Access and Privacy! Register now to take advantage of this incredible Super Saver price of $299.00! (Offer expires April 1st, 2011).

We look forward to seeing you in Halifax on June 2, 2011!
