Conference Announcement
The 5th Ditan International Conference on Infectious Diseases (DICID) will be held on July 14 -17, 2011 in China National Convention Center, Beijing, China. This year, the theme of the Conference is “Infectious Diseases in the Resistance Era”.
Although there has been a reduction in many infectious diseases due to the development of varies drugs, technologies and administration policies, the ever-changing nature of the infectious diseases need the new insight and science. To capture this, we have carefully designed a 3-day core program together with a postgraduate course which will bring you the latest updates and an excellent occasion for scientific exchange.

All submitted abstracts will be scored by reviewers according to categories and be allocated to Plenary Presentation, Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation.
All accepted abstracts will be published in International Journal of Infectious Diseases as a supplement issue and are indexed in ScienceDirect and in Scopus.

Grant and Award
Travel Grant
DICID is keen on encouraging scientists to submit and present their research work and share with other colleagues in the field. The Travel Grant is set to support individuals who have submitted their abstract(s) to the DICID with excellent quality and faces financial difficulties in attending the Conference. Waived registration fee and a cash prize of USD 300/ RMB 2055 will be given to laureates to cover expenses such as air-ticket and accommodation.
Eligibility and Application Procedure
Applicants of the Travel Grant must be the presenting author of the accepted abstract(s) and recommendation letter from department head/supervisor must be submitted to the Conference Secretariat while submitting the abstract(s).

AGD Prize
AGD Prize will be extended to scientists who submit excellent researches to the DICID. Laureates will receive a cash prize and waived registration fee.
Eligibility and Application Procedure
Applicants of the AGD Prize must be the presenting author of the accepted abstract(s).
