Healthy Planet and Healthy Life
Knowledge is virtue. It is essential for everyone to have knowledge and aware of the concerns and essential practises in imperative domains such as Health, Global warming, food, etc for healthy living. Generations will be healthy if woman and child are healthy. Earth will be healthy if our atmosphere is healthy. Thus a research, efforts and practises are essential to proceed in these lifesaving directions. The awareness is needed in the imperative concerns such as Health, Global warming in reducing a carbon footprint.

Global Concerns:
Child mortality: 11 million child deaths every year
Global Warming: CO2 emissions 32 billions tons/annum
United Nations,
Question is, whether every citizen is aware of the findings and facts of research and solutions of the concerns? How to educate your people?

The three pillars of excellence to acclimatize in healthy living are: knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP)

How ICT and Knowledge management processes assist in reaching people?
E-governance is a virtual service which reaches people and provides a service. In most of the cases we see that most of the e-Governance portals are limited to document systems and services such as Passport applications, Tax filing etc. Enriching these portals with new trends, knowledge and technology will provide additional dimensions to a present Governance and assist in better understanding. New knowledge and Governance activities in essential areas such as Health, Energy, Education etc, would bring awareness amongst citizens. Managing knowledge and disseminating to the people via e-governance portals would bring attentiveness in people.

e-Governance and e-Health
Managing the real time problems during maternal process, and the health of mother and child health are essential in reducing the mortality rate. Due to a lack of knowledge, skills and non availability of proper medical care, the mortality rate is high. At least two-thirds of them could be prevented by a proper precautions, and necessary interventions. Mortality rate in females also are significant in number of deaths due to many factors such as diseases, medical care, hygiene etc during maternal process.

How a woman/child/family at grass root level will get the benefit of e-Governance in health?

e-Governance –Green Technology
CO2 emissions and green house gases are changing the climate resulting into a Global warming. These issues are major concerns and threats to the life of living beings on earth. It is essential for everyone to follow certain protocols to save our planet for our future generations. Educating people about the consequences of Greenhouse gases and practicing environmental safe lifestyle such as 0 Carbon houses and cities, eco friendly practises, lifestyle which every person needs to start with in reducing the carbon footprint.

IS it possible implicate Green Knowledge in to E-Governance to make citizens green efficient?

Significance of the Event

This conference shall provide a platform where the experts will be invited from different countries and share their knowledge in new concepts of the Governance, e-health and Green technology areas. Participants from different parts of the world would be benefited by the new trends. There are opportunities of research, business development and technical know how. This event shall help in gaining knowledge of new trends and developments in E-Governance, Health and Green Technology.

UNICEF on Maternal health
In the time it takes to read this page, a woman will have died of a pregnancy-related complication. Her death will be both a private and a public tragedy. It will leave an indelible mark on her family, affecting forever the health and well-being of her surviving children. The health of mothers is the greatest divide between rich and poor nations.
Eighty per cent of those deaths could be prevented by simple, often low-cost treatments, and quality obstetrics care.
We have the solutions. All that is required is the will to implement them.

UNICEF on Child care
About 29,000 children under the age of five – 21 each minute – die every day, mainly from preventable causes. More than 70 per cent of almost 11 million child deaths every year are attributable to six causes: diarrhea, malaria, neonatal infection, pneumonia, preterm delivery, or lack of oxygen at birth. And the majority is preventable. Malnutrition and the lack of safe water and sanitation contribute to half of all these children’s deaths.
As many as 40 per cent of child deaths could be prevented with improved family and community care – not high-tech health equipment, but access to solid knowledge, support and basic supplies.

NASA on Global warming

In the 10,000 years before the Industrial Revolution in 1751, carbon dioxide levels rose less than one percent. Since then, they've risen 37 percent. Between 1751 and 2003, human activities added about 466 billion tons of carbon to the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. The burning of fossil fuels, and cement manufacturing, account for about two-thirds of these emissions, while land use changes (primarily forest clearing) make up the rest. Humans are currently adding almost 32 billion tons of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere each year, and this rate of emission is increasing dramatically. Of all the carbon emitted by human activities between 1751 and 2003, only about 40 percent has remained in the atmosphere. The remaining 60 percent has been apparently absorbed (at least temporarily) by the ocean and continents.

Chairman’s Message

Dear All

When babies are born, they have full rights to live healthily, and survive in a clean environment; as well the mothers’ survival also is equally important. Thus the maternal stage is very vital for the survival of mother and child. Unfortunately due to lack of knowledge, unhygienic conditions and medical care, the mortality rate is high during the pregnancy and child birth. How this knowledge can be made available via internet, mobile phones, or health centres so that every person gets information and knowledge on time?
Another vital concern, is the global warming, a greater concern which is the alarming one. These are the intimidating factors which need a foremost importance and remedies to reduce the impact. In this regard, how the Technology and Governance will be helpful in educating the mass and reduce these impacts? Can we correct the mistakes we have been making since centuries? A slight attention and persuasion is needed this direction. Indeed every one has to think, act and practise the essentials in saving every mother and child and also the mother earth.
We have many talents, young minds with greater ideas, its essential to nurture an ideation as a primary step followed by an innovation and then implementation. The aim of I2EG-11 is the ideation and innovations by sharing knowledge in the fields of health (Mother and child care) and environment (Green technology). To induce awareness and educate people, it is essential for every Government and citizen to be ready with a system, technology, knowledge and strategies to tackle the threats to the mankind.
Shall we start with a tiny step towards a larger leap in humanity, sustainability and survival?
