Low Carbon Earth Summit-2011 (LCES2011) (LCES2011)
|Event Date/Time: Oct 19, 2011||End Date/Time: Oct 26, 2011|
On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite you to join the first Low Carbon Earth Summit (LCES-2011). The theme of the summit will be “Leading the Green Economy, Returning to Harmony with Nature,†and it will be held October 19-26, 2011 at the World Exposition Center in Dalian, China.
The purpose of LCES-2011 is to provide a world-class meeting place for information exchanges and trade fairs to promote low carbon economy. The World Expo Center will differentiate itself from other conferences by covering more comprehensive issues from both public and private sectors regarding the anticipated climate change. We also hope such an initiative can meet the challenges and demands facing societies in developing new strategies under international standards to support climate change control. Meanwhile, we aim to offer more opportunities to stimulate the growth of practical and operational measurements for decision makers, researchers, industrial participants, business leaders and beyond. LCES-2011 will support new business development with the opportunity to learn from others experiences in this field, to identify ways to play an even more active role in control of global climate change, and to seize further green investment opportunities for innovators and entrepreneurs worldwide.
Dalian, the most beautiful coastal city in northern China, is keen on making great efforts in improving the environment and reducing the causes of climate change. As a new champion among green economy practitioners in China, Dalian has successfully hosted the annual Summer World Economy Forum, Davos twice in 2007 and 2009. This generated great impact on the development of the New Chinese economy model and beyond. With the increasing demand for knowledge-based economy in designing and building the “Great Dalian,†it is expected to be one of the largest ideal conference centers in China, with the best meeting facilities.
Lastly, we urge you not miss this historic event and to join us with your enthusiasm for and contributions to this field. We hope to see you In Dalian and that you will bring home an unforgettable memory from this first annual event.
