"SAFE ENVIRONMENT 2011" is an International Conference on Environment, Tourism, Investment and Sustainable Development, scheduled to hold in the Ancient City of Benin as the Chief Host State and four other States of Lagos, Kaduna, Enugu and the Federal Capital City, Abuja from 2nd - 5th August 2011.
“Safe Environment 2011” with the theme………..CLIMATE CHANGE, GLOBALIZATION AND SUSTAINABILITY; PROPAGATING AFRICA'S ADAPTIVE CAPACITY is designed to expose the reality of Climate Change to Nigerians in particular, and Africans and the World in general. It will also view the relevance of Adaptive as against Mitigative measures in preparing for the imminent conseqencies of the present Climate Change.

THE NAME of the Conference “Safe Environment 2011” was informed by the present reality of the phenomenon of Climate Change as evidenced primarily by Global Warming.

Contributing information to make the World Environment Safer for all its inhabitants is the Universal Goal of the Conference which aims at awakening the attention and consciousness of its target audience to; The imminence of an Evolution of a New Age and a New Global Climate for Planet Earth, in order to arouse their preparedness for the necessary adaptations to this irreversible reality.

Now is the time for Nigeria, Africa and the World to begin to see the issue of Climate Change in the right perspective and begin to prepare for what will inevitably come; A New Cycle in The World Evolution and its Inhabitants of Flora and Fauna. The signs and signals are now globally glaring across all continents of the world. - Global Warming - Melting of the Artic Ice stored over Millions of years. - Unprecedented Rainfalls - Increasing Snow - Storms, Hurricanes & Cyclones - Wild Fires - Rising Sea Level - Loss of Forest Covers. - Increased Geological Phenomena - Landsides and Mudslides - Earthquakes, Volcanic Eruptions & Tsunamis. The increased frequencies and the global scope of these Environmental Phenomena represent great signs of the Evolutionary changes for Planet Earth The Conference will attempt to seek answers to the following questions: - What will be the nature of the New World? - What will the New World Climate be like? - How will Man adapt in order to survive in a New World and under a new Climate/Environment? - How will future Humans and other creatures look like? - What adaptive mechanism/requirements will creation need to survive in the New World?
