Management practices have created an impact on societies, cultures, technologies, environment, markets, public policies and international collaborations in business and commerce. Digital age has changed the scenario of complete business world and the current business models have replaced the traditional ones. The cut throat competition of business world has enforced the organization to encourage new trends and improve the business trends as well. Change is all the more overriding in the developing and less developed countries. Globalization of business has not only resulted in foreign direct investments and foreign institutional investments but also a great deal of technology transfer and innovations in product and process design.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS
International Association of Management Scholars (IAMS), an international professional organization representing the interests of various management areas all round the globe through a vast pool of scholars. The purposes of the Association is to extend and integrate knowledge that contributes to the improved understanding and practices of management, to disseminate information on management areas to managers, scientists, educators, students, public and private organizations, national and local governments, and the general public as well as promote the improvement of business strategies and its teaching in public and private organizations throughout the world.
The world famous Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun made a humble beginning from the Forest School established in 1878. Initially named as Imperial Forest Research Institute, FRI came into being in 1906. Later renamed as Forest Research Institute and Colleges, it had a number of Centres located at different places all over the country administering research as well as training of Forest Officers and Forest Rangers. FRI was conferred the status of Deemed-to-be-University in 1991. It runs Ph.D. programmes in Forest sciences and M.Sc. in Forestry; Wood Science and Technology; Environmental Management and Cellulose and Paper Technology.
Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand is a historic city with modern facilities. The city showcases diversity of Indian cultures and architectural marvel. It is the most happening place and educational hub of the country. Weather is generally pleasant throughout the year as situated in the valley near to Mussorie. The tourist destinations in Dehradun may be divided into nature, sports, sanctuary, museums and institutions. The nearby hill stations are well known for its nature, temples for its faith dimensions, sanctuary for animal and bird lovers. Tourists can also engage in activities like rafting, trekking and rock climbing. It is easy to get to the nearby hillstations like Mussoorie, Ssahssradhara, Chakrata, Dakpathar
Original contributions in the form of theoretical and empirical papers on the above-mentioned tracks are invited from academics, research scholars as well as practitioners. The above list is indicative. Contributions in sync with the conference theme will be considered in case the research work conforms to the broader scope of a particular track.
