The date is rapidly approaching for the 2nd Annual Alabama Community College System eLearning Symposium, sponsored by Blackboard, Inc. and hosted by Athens State University in Athens, Alabama on Thursday, August 18, 2011!

We’re happy to announce three additional companies from Blackboard’s Partnerships Program who have confirmed their participation in this year’s event. These include:

• Brainshark – a cloud-based software used to easily transform static content such as PowerPoint documents into voice-enriched video presentations that can be accessed anytime, on-demand...and tracked so you can measure the effectiveness of your communications. http://www.Brainshark.com/

• eXplorance – Information gathering, sharing and analysis software for web based surveys, online course evaluations, automated 360 degree feedback reviews, simplified performance appraisals and other feedback management processes. http://www.eXplorance.com/

• ShareStream – a rich media management and delivery platform that allows storage, management, and preservation all of licensed and institutionally-generated rich media content in a centralized system and seamlessly deliver content globally while controlling content dissemination via higher-education-specific digital rights management. http://www.ShareStream.com/

They are joined by previously announced partners ConnectYard, Follett Higher Education Group, NBC Learn, SoftChalk, and Tegrity. Representatives from these companies will be available throughout the day in their booths to answer your questions about their products, and will also be conducting morning and afternoon break-out sessions which offer more in-depth previews through live demonstrations of their products.

As previously announced, our keynote speaker for this year’s event will be Maurice Heiblum, President of Blackboard Collaborate. Meals are free, as is registration, and the event is open to all instructors, administrators, and eLearning professional staff from your organization. If you haven’t already registered, please do so today at http://www.ACCSeLearning.com/.

Thanks again for your interest, and we look forward to seeing you on our campus in August!
