Mr. Sam Pitroda, the Adviser to the Prime Minister on Public Information Infrastructure and Innovation has been elected the Chairman of “India Smart Grid Task Forceâ€. He said, “India has been considered to rank third among the top 10 Smart Grid Investments countries. Therefore, under my stewardship, we wish to evolve a future roadmap for development of Smart Grid in India aided by the most modern and latest technologies in the field.â€
