Developmental Interventions in Neonatal Care (Developmental)
Venue: Paris Las Vegas
|Event Date/Time: Nov 13, 2011||End Date/Time: Nov 16, 2011|
On behalf of the NIDCAP Federation International (NFI) and Contemporary Forums, we'd like to invite you to the 27th annual "Developmental Interventions in Neonatal Care" conference. The NFI and Contemporary Forums have joined together this year to collaborate on what we feel is an outstanding program, bringing together national experts, including selected NIDCAP trainers to discuss strategies for providing individualized, supportive and family-centered developmental care for fragile infants.
As you know, evidence continues to grow that the cascade of ongoing stimuli in the NICU significantly affects the neuromotor and neurosensory development of high-risk infants. It is incumbent on the NICU team to recognize the brain's vulnerability at this important time and institute caregiving practices which support resilience and improve developmental outcomes. The specialized faculty from the fields of medicine, nursing, psychology, physical therapy, education and rehabilitative medicine will help you translate the research in this field to practical strategies for supporting the fragile infant's developmental and behavioral needs.
Highlights and Benefits:
