Argus CRC 2011 returns this year in Hong Kong with new speakers and exciting debates. Join us to participate in an in-depth study of the changing oil and gas markets and resulting new challenges. Delegates will also benefit from a session focusing on supply and demand factors and be able to tap into the potential opportunities in this key region of the global oil and gas markets.

In 2010, China surpassed Germany to become Russia’s largest trading partner and in the same year, for the first time, emerged as Kazakhstan's biggest trading partner. With the rapid development of China’s economy, its 1.3bn people have created strong purchasing power to drive the huge regional energy market and demand for Russia’s energy exports.

Russia, having an abundance of energy resources and superiority in exploration and mining, may provide the security China requires as a long-term and reliable source of energy supply. In view of the dynamics in the region, China will have to build a strategic partnership with Russia for long-term development and forge close ties with energy-rich central Asia.

The East Siberia-Pacific Ocean Pipeline became operational on 1 January 2011. Argus CRC 2011 will provide insights on quality issues for ESPO Blend crude oil and changes in Russia’s energy policy. Join us at this exciting event and acquire answers to the biggest market questions surrounding energy trading between China, Russia and central Asia.
