The 28th Annual Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity will bring together a diverse international gathering of Specialized Professionals, Community Leaders, Self-Advocates and Distinguished Educators representing all disability and diversity areas. With the goal to provide action plans, aimed to meet human and social needs within a globalized world. Participants at the event will explore global challenges, personal experiences and research advancements; all devoted to impact each individual in his or her own unique way.

Support and actively participate in encouraging voices from diverse perspectives to formulate discussion and change within three of Pacific Rim International Conference’s themed topics; the ‘Foundational’ Topics based on current CDS initiatives; ‘Exploration’ Topics based on community initiatives; and ‘Innovation’ Topics based on global challenges.

This event is hosted by the Center on Disability Studies (CDS), a University of Hawai'i Board of Regents recognized center of programs focused on the development and conduct of interdisciplinary education/training, research/demonstration and evaluation, through university and community services.
