The Eckhart Park Advisory Council is gearing up for their first annual 5K in the West Town / Noble Square neighborhood! Proceeds from the 5K will help go towards building a new playground for the kids in the community to make it safer and more enjoyable.
The 5K is open to runners and walkers alike! It is stroller and pet friendly and will be chip timed. Kids 12 years and younger can participate in the 100 yard dash that will take place shortly after the 5K run! Register your child the day of the race for $5.
Brilliant Corners of Popular Amusements circus festival will be providing entertainment in Eckhart Park before, during, and after the 5K continuing throughout the weekend. Make sure you “run to the fun†by completing the 3.1 mile course, and then enjoy good music, great food, and even better company! Don't miss this inaugural event!
