Join us on 30 September at the IET’s Power System Protection seminar - an ideal forum to openly yet confidentially discuss with your industry peers the ways in which technologies have been employed to ensure the UK’s power system remains stable.

The seminar has been designed as an informal event that will provide technical insight from manufacturers and end user case studies to generate discussion and discover the best ways of making the most of what is currently available to get the job done effectively and efficiently.

A joint ABB, Alstom, Siemens and Network Rail presentation will outline the positive impact of implementing IEC 61850 and provide a real end user’s perspective.

Furthermore the day will feature a CIGRE Study Committee B5 (Protection & Automation) update and discussion on IED functionality, line differential protection devices, Wide Area Protection Performance Audits and intelligent protection relay system for Smart Grid.

Finally, if you attended the IET’s DPSP conference last year (http://conferences.theiet.org/dpsp/index.cfm?origin=all-conferences) you will receive a generous discount on your registration!
