While in the past, Canadian companies have predominantly been active outside of Canada, representing a large share in the U.S., geothermal development in Canada has growing potential with support from academia such as yourself. While Canada is looking to promote its renewable energy industry, geothermal power can be part of the solution to creating a better future for Canadians, but is often overlooked.

On behalf of the Canadian Geothermal Energy Association, I would like to invite you to attend CanGEA's 4th Annual Conference and Investment Forum to take place at the One King West Hotel & Residence in Toronto, Ontario, September 14-15, 2011. This conference will provide an in-depth look at the current status of geothermal energy and the possibilities for Canada to become a future leader in geothermal development. We have been able to attract high-level speakers from Canada, the United States, Iceland, Switzerland, Indonesia, Argentina to present their companies and activities. The event also features two workshops on geothermal energy and the Canadian Geothermal Code for Public Reporting on September 13, 2011.

We feature a favourable price for non-profit, first nations, government and academic representatives.
