In Japan, one in two people is diagnosed with cancer. One in three, which is more than 300,000 people every year, dies from it. However, cancer treatment in Japan currently faces a host of challenges including providing high quality information to patients and their families, Adverse Event management, supportive care, palliative care and an insufficient number of both Oncologists and cancer specialist nurses.
The Summit will bring together a top selection of Pharma specialists and experienced professionals to share their knowledge, their views and give you insight into what methods they are using to create a tailored treatment for patients, how they are dealing with the challenges and opportunities, and most importantly, how Pharma can support better treatment provision for cancer patients in order to improve their quality of life (QOL).
