Program Purpose / Objectives

The purpose of this CME activity is to review commonly encountered conditions found among children and adolescents.
Preliminary Objectives for Activity:
At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
â€¢ Review causes of abdominal pain and appropriate evaluation
â€¢ Determine the best approach to gastrointestinal foreign bodies
â€¢ Review the current literature on hepatitis and treatment for children
â€¢ Determine appropriate evaluation for common GI problems in children
â€¢ Review the causes and treatment of neonatal jaundice
â€¢ Explore gastroesophageal reflux and its therapy
â€¢ Evaluate current treatment modalities for inflammatory bowel disease and its implications
