“Being good is good. Being the best is greatâ€! Successful organizations are innovative and strive to be the best. Incessant innovation that coalesces and blends the skill, knowledge and attitude in correct proportions helps an organization to address the challenges efficiently and achieve sustained excellence and breakthrough performance. In this era of cut-throat competition, it is imperative that organizations become habituated to innovations; need not be by means of big grandiose plans and projects which create the difference, but could be even through small improvements and changes which can be practically implemented. Indisputably, for survival and optimum performance, an organization need to be better today than it was yesterday and better tomorrow than it is today – innovation for organizational excellence is a pre-requisite for this, not merely a nicety.
Under this backdrop, this conference attempts to bring in wider views of innovation as novel methods of creating value, and also focuses on research that study innovative processes and principles for organizational practices. We invite faculty members, industry experts, research associates, and management students to participate by sharing their papers on the theme. The Research areas are broad in nature and contributions are sought from all fields on the research theme and related topics.
