Greater than ever before, LNG has the opportunity to win heavy-duty transportation markets as fleets of ships, locomotives, trucks and buses search for low-cost, clean, abundant fuel. LNG promises to follow the path diesel followed 120 years ago as it over took steam as the prime mover, capturing the highest end marine fuel-consumption markets first, then cascading into rail, off-road and over the road markets. Assisting with rapid adoption is LNG expansion into drilling rigs, remote power generation, heating, and municipal supply.

Barriers to entry are falling one after another as innovations in engine technologies, infrastructure and commitments by Fortune 500 companies are made. Policymakers in the United States and China view LNG as an expedient solution for trade imbalances, jobs, pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions.

Meanwhile, a growing network of merchant plants as well as baseload import terminals and peakshavers are readying their facilities to distribute by the trailer load. Increasingly, multinational corporations involved in world LNG trade are recognizing and investing in downstream LNG-fuel markets. Latest entrants include Shell, GDF Suez, ENAP, CNOOC, and El Paso. Added to this are major shale gas producers, including Chesapeake Energy and Encana. The industry is on the verge of ballooning into thousands of organizations offering fuel, equipment, and services.

This conference and exhibition will bring together industry authorities to discuss unfolding market opportunities and challenges.
