During the last decade, important strides have been made in unraveling the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of nervous system autoimmune diseases.
This conference will bring scientists from all parts of the world, interested in various autoimmune diseases of the nervous system to one location and discuss the common pathways of pathogenesis and a possible broad spectrum use of immunotherapeutics for autoimmune diseases of the nervous system.
Also India and China are emerging centers for industry sponsored clinical trials because of the significant patient population. Several academic Neurologists from India and China will be invited to interact with scientists planning to perform clinical trials on promising novel drugs.
Basic and clinical sciences will be equally covered. Further, the location will attract participation of scientists from Asia as well.
Bangalore has excellent conference centers and is the tech. center of India and in the last few years have seen economic boom. Also there is direct connection by air to Bangalore from several European cities.
The conference will lead to meaningful interactions between scientists to exchange ideas, future scientific collaboration, including collaboration between basic and clinical scientists, funding opportunities, and to eventual development of specific therapy or cure for NSA. It will also promote participation of students and postdoctoral fellows, who constitute the future scientists. The conference will bring together participants of diverse national and ethnic origins. On the basis of scientific impact, abstracts will be considered for symposium and mini-symposium or poster presentation. The presentations will provide a venue for the review of recent and current advancement.
