Aims and Scope
Faculty of Teacher Education Osijek (Croatia) is pleased to announce the International Scientific Conference "Didactic Challenges", which is intended to be a forum, discussion and networking place for academics and researchers dealing with contemporary teaching practice. The Conference aims at the following issues from didactic perspective:
- Teaching competencies
- Creativity development in the classroom
- Studentsâ€™ status in the classroom
- Volunteers in the classroom
- Innovations in university teaching
- Quality of teaching
- ICT and life-long learning
- 355 years of didactics
Submission of Proposals
Please send an abstract, not exceeding 500 words, along with the title of your paper and the application form to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org by January 15 2012. Application form can be downloaded from http://www.ufos.hr/DATA/skupovi/didactic.php
Your abstract should consist of approximately 500 words, and should contain the following paragraphs:
â€¢ research questions and aims
â€¢ methodology applied
â€¢ main results
There should also be listed keywords (no more than 5).
Abstracts received until January 15 2012 will be reviewed.
The paper should be written in English or Croatian. Authors are accountable for its quality and the quality of translation. Full paper should be sent after your proposal (abstract) has been accepted.
The complete paper (including appendices and a reference list) should not exceed 12 pages (a page = A4 paper size, white paper, 3 cm margins, Times New Roman 12, single spacing, justified text).
Your paper must include the following: title, authors, abstract and keywords, text body (divided into paragraphs), reference list (only of the autors cited in the text).
Tables and figures should be black and white, marked with numbers and have a title
(e.g. Table 1. Sample characteristics).
