| Description |
With oncologists increasingly using CTCs to gather prognostic information on their patients, it is more and more apparent that CTCs can offer clinicians a non-invasive means of sampling for genetic markers, monitoring treatment responsiveness, aiding in treatment decision-making and indicating novel drug targets. However, there are still issues and questions being raised about the clinical significance of CTCs, as well as the need to improve sensitivity, reproducibility and reliability of their use in disease monitoring.
This conference will discuss;
* CTCs as Prognostic or Predictive Biomarkers for Cancer,
* Isolation and Analysis of CTCs,
* Methods of enumeration of CTCs as a predictor,
* Significance of CTCs in Various Types of Cancer,
* Early cancer detection.
