Description
On February 15th, 16th and 17th, 2012 there will be the XIV Colombian Coal Conference "Colombian Coal Conference 2012" at the Convention Center of Combarranquilla - Country. The event will be attended by renowned national and international experts, specializing in the coal market.
Annually, this event brings together about 300 people involved in the production and marketing of coal, and industry suppliers, customers, staff of the National Government, representatives of other countries and national and international businesses that generate revenue of more than 1,000 million pesos to the city on business tourism.
Every year, the event will feature a specialized academic program for the mining and energy sector in order to make a detailed analysis of the coal face of new markets, the share of coal in the generation expansion plan for electricity, context of world coal royalties, environmental policies and the demand for coal in the electricity sector in Europe, among other topics of interest to industry.
