Vietnam’s recent robust growth is accompanied with an urgent need for efficient transportation networks and modern infrastructure. This rapid development has spurred the Vietnamese government to release $7Billion to be spent on roads, highways, metrorail, bridges and general transport infrastructure from Q1 of 2012 until Q4 of 2014.

The design and master plan of Vietnam’s roads is the responsibility of the Ministry of Transport and the Vietnam Road Administration. The construction of this infrastructure, however, is being contracted to local and international engineering companies. It has been reiterated again and again by companies operating in Vietnam that there is “a lot of opportunity in the Vietnamese market right now.”

Transport Infrastructure Vietnam 2012 will feature dedicated discussions on transport infrastructure in Vietnam. Tailor made for the Asian region, the conference will brainstorm successful business development strategies.
