NIABI 2012 aims to promote the concept of ‘agricultural development through agribusiness’. Organised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), NIABI 2012 looks at how entrepreneurship can be the focal point in developing strategies to address the many challenges faced by agricultural sector, which ranges from climate change and depleting natural resources to low returns and migration of rural youth from agriculture to other sectors. The second edition of the global conference, NIABI 2012 is a step towards understanding the finer details of agribusiness and business incubation.
