The Environmental Engineering Session of the 53rd International Scientific Conference of the Riga Technical University will be held 12 October 2012. The Conference has been envisaged as a regular scientific forum and its main aim is to acquaint researchers with achievements in the area of energy systems and environmental engineering and to give the scientists, especially PhD students, an opportunity to publish the results of their research.
The Environmental Engineering Session in the year 2012 will be devoted to Sustainable Environmental and Energy Solutions – the topic that is one of those that lately causes the most interest and concern among all environmental problems, inciting heated discussions among scientists, politicians, and practitioners, as well as within society as a whole.
Scientists and practitioners provide competitive and green growth solutions and will discuss green energy strategy up to the year 2050. The latest innovative technologies and examples of eco-innovations will also be presented.
