As medical professionals, it is a natural calling for us to protect and promote health. We all share a passion for quality care, enthusiasm for innovation and commitment to integrity. Over the past decades, rapid medical advancements have brought about better diagnosis and management of various diseases. Since the inception of the Advances in Medicine in 1998, we are endeavour to provide an excellent platform for our fellow colleagues across boundaries to engage in productive exchanges of experiences with renowned clinicians from around the world. This year, the Advances in Medicine 2012 will have a wide array of topics of interests and latest developments to be addressed by distinguished experts including advances in immunization, clinical management of COPD, anti-lipid treatment, management of Parkinson’s disease, facts and myths of cosmetic dermatology, update in HBV diagnostic, update in anti-thrombotic therapy and management of acute coronary syndrome, to name just a few.
