This is the second international meeting on Hydrogen Sulfide Biology and its biomedical effects. The First International H2S conference was held in 2009 in Shanghai, where leading investigators in H2S biology initially came together to discuss this important molecule and its effects on cellular redox and chemical biology, signal transduction, and pathophysiological functions during health and disease.

The conference will be unique as it represents a period of rapid growth in understanding of H2S chemistry and biology along with possible translational implications that are important for numerous investigators across a wide range of disciplines. This meeting will significantly advance the field through report and discussion on the latest in H2S basic chemical biology, redox based signaling, and potential implications for physiological and disease processes in this burgeoning area of gasotransmitter research.

The keynote speaker will be Solomon H. Snyder, MD, DSc, DPhil, Professor of Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University. We expect 200 scientific researchers to attend this pioneering conference which will host a range of sessions that explore the fascinating capacities of this crucial molecule.
