As we all know the underlying principle of Ambulatory Care Medicine is that a significant proportion of inpatients can be managed safely and appropriately on a same day basis without admission to an inpatient hospital bed, and this is a great savings on the healthcare system.
Today's health care environment is ever changing, and ambulatory care providers are expected to provide a high level of care to patients in a very busy and pressured environment. We need to get together to celebrate the high quality of care we provide to our patients and the performance improvement measures we have implemented to maintain best practices
If you wish to enhance your practice in ambulatory patient care and share ideas with your colleagues then the CAAC is here to help and support you with our conference.
Who should attend:The conference is designed for those who provide care across all ambulatory health care settings. It is an educational forum for those who practice in a wide variety of clinical settings, such as specialty clinics and procedure areas (in or out of an hospital setting) , physician offices, home health care settings and public health. Staff would include Patient Care Managers, Clinical Educators, Advance Practice Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Staff Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Physicians, Social Workers, and Physical Therapists.
We look forward to seeing you in September,to be held on September 24, 2012 Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
