The Department of Logistics of ATEI Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Quantitative Analysis, Logistics and Supply Chain Management of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, AUTH, and the Elliniki Etaireia Logistics (EEL) of Northern Greece (the premiere association of logisticians in Greece), invite you at the 2nd International Conference on Supply Chains, organized in the city of Katerini at the foothills of mount Olympus, on the 5th and 6th of October 2012.

The topics to be covered in this Conference include all contemporary aspects of knowledge regarding Logistics and Supply Chain Management and supporting technologies in the areas of research development and business applications, in the private and public sector.

This invitation is addressed to academics, researchers, entrepreneurs, decision and policy makers from public authorities, members and representatives of business associations, undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Operations.

After the successful organization of the 1 st Olympus ICSC which was held in 2010 we hope that your participation in the 2 nd Olympus ICSC , will establish ICSC as an important scientific event, a benchmark for knowledge streaming and innovation transfer for the Supply Chains and Logistics sector in Greece and all around European countries.

We hope to see you all in the city of Katerini, at the foothills of mount Olympus, in the 2nd ICSC at the beginning of October 2012.

Aims and objectives of the Olympus ICSC
The goal of the 2nd Olympus International Conference on Supply Chains is to establish a dynamic platform where different knowledge streams will merge, and business and academic stakeholders will meet to exchange knowledge, experiences and promote innovation in the areas of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The objective of ICSC is to promote sustainable development of the Logistics sector in the wider region of South Eastern Europe.

Conference official languages

The official languages of the conference are both English and Greek (translation services will be available)

Instructions for authors
Abstracts should be submitted only in English until the March 31st 2012 at the following address: icsc2012@logistics.teithe.gr. Authors will be notified on the evaluation of their abstract until April 15th. The submission of the full version of manuscripts will be open until May 30th, 2012. The manuscripts will be peer reviewed and the accepted papers will be included in the Olympus ICSC Proceedings.
Submitted abstracts and full version manuscripts should be written in Word 2003 or a newer version, using Arial 12 for the body of the text and Arial 14 for the headings. Detailed guidelines for authors can be found in: www.logistics.teithe.gr.
