Objective: Review and discuss acute stroke/TIA guidelines

Objective: Differentiate functional recovery vs Neurological recovery.
1.Acute Chest Pain
Objective: Understand limits of EKG and lab.
1.Rehab Interventions for Post M.I./C.A.B.G.
Objective: Implementing a cardiac rehab Program.
1.Concussion
Objective: Understand literature and initial management
1.Post Concussion Syndrome and Rehabilitation
Objective: Understanding and implementing present guidelines for return to sports/work.
1.Acute Swollen Joint
Objective: Define appropriate interventions.
1.Arthritis and Other Musculoskeletal Disorders
Objective: Discuss varying treatment options that enhance function and quality of life.
1.Acute Non-oncological /Non-traumatic Pain
Objective: Design patient specific plan when acute intervention is necessary.
1.Rehab Management of Chronic Benign Pain
Objective: Presentation of interventions in addition to medications.
1.Chronic Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Objective: Discuss home and long-term management goals and treatment options for the chronic pulmonary patient.
1.Acute Respiratory Distress
Objective: Cite and discuss relevant literature to develop more uniform practice interventions.
1.Bariatric Dilemmas
Objective: Discuss the present literature about exercise interventions.
1.Acute Dilemmas in Bariatric Patients
Objective: Formulate plan based on present literature.

Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
