Work, Health, and Wellbeing is designed to provide participants with the skills necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of workplace health strategies, translate this evidence into practice, and implement these strategies to design health promotion and occupational health and safety programs. The program will provide participants with the skills needed for:

  • Evaluating worksite and worker health risks

  • Translating workplace wellness research into practice

  • Measuring outcomes and evaluating occupational health and safety programs

  • Assessing the financial impact of workplace health programs

Learning Objectives

  • Apply comprehensive approaches to improve the health of the workforce at your organization

  • Justify an integrated approach to worker health protection and promotion to their executive management team

  • Identify the most effective workplace health program design principles and content based on research studies

  • Describe the processes by which programmatic solutions to workplace health were designed and implemented

  • Describe and evaluate methods to create workplace health program scalability and sustainability

  • Apply research-based methods to implement outcomes measurement approaches that are feasible in practice

  • Use skills for team-based planning efforts in worksite health
