Description
Szeged International Workshop on Advances in Nanoscience (SIWAN) is a forum where young researchers get a chance to show their results and get further motivation from listening to in-depth talks from top nanotechnology researchers. Every aspect of nanoscience is welcome at SIWAN because it is our goal to broaden the intellectual horizons and stimulate interdisciplinary idea exchange as much as possible.
Applications for oral and poster contributions are invited from all fields, for example:
synthesis and characterization of nanostructures and nanocomposites
improving our fundamental understanding of physics and chemistry at the nanoscale
applications of nanostructures in structural materials, catalysis, energy storage, energy conversion and electronics
scale-up and commercialization of nanomaterial production
bionanomaterials
health and safety issues related to the manufacturing and usage of nanoproducts
Contributors are kindly asked to put emphasis on introducing their field-specific concepts in an easily comprehensible way to facilitate idea flow towards nonspecialists colleagues, young researchers and students.
