This bicentennial MSSA conference will celebrate South African microscopy. Prominent overseas microscopists have been invited to give the Boris Balinsky and John Matthews lectures. There will be separate tracks for Materials Sciences & Life Sciences and oral presentations will be held in parallel. Each track will have themed sessions. A list of themes will be posted on the conference website. Members are encouraged to submit suggestions for themes. Presenters will be identified to deliver a Keynote Address to introduce the theme. Oral presentations will be selected from the submitted abstracts by the abstract editors and Theme Chairs.
