Transitioning to Digital Recordkeeping
Venue: National Convention Centre
Event Date/Time: Sep 18, 2012 |
Description
The Commonwealth Government’s Digital Transition Policy signifies a broader move, by all levels of government, towards digital recordkeeping.
However, while the benefits of digital recordkeeping are clear – increased efficiency, cost savings – it isn’t easy. There are challenges around everything from simply getting rid of the paper to rolling out an EDRMS, managing the change, managing risk and ensuring the accessibility of digital records over time.
This conference has been designed to provide Records Information/Record Managers with guidance on managing Management these challenges. It will do this through a series of highly practical presentations from lead agencies and those organisations making progress in this space.
