The Conference will address the growing energy needs for global markets from both producersâ€™ and consumersâ€™ perspectives, the impact of geopolitics of energy in the Middle-East and North Africa and the effects of gas exports on EU/Russia relations. The Conference will also assess the achievements of the global environment agenda so far, the promises of alternative and renewable energies and will debate the critical issue of nuclear energy.
Launching the Energy Security For The Most Vulnerable Programme, the Global Diplomatic Forum will mobilise partners from the private sector, NGOâ€™s, research institutions and international organisations, tasked at developing and implementing sustainable energy programmes for the most energy poverty stricken countries in the world.
