Description

The 2nd Annual REDETE conference seeks to identify new paradigms able to accommodate the complexity of economic development and entrepreneurship in transition and developing economies. In order to solve complex societal problems in these countries an integrated or holistic approach by two or more disciplines is needed. Generally speaking, one of the key aspects of the REDETE forum is, in fact, Interdisciplinarity.

Papers on any aspect of entrepreneurship and economic development in transition economies are welcome. All papers will be subject to double-blind review. Papers will be published in the Conference proceedings (full text CD). Selected papers from the conference will be considered for possible inclusion in a special issue of The International Small Business Journal (http://isb.sagepub.com) and International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies (http://www.inderscience.com/browse/index.php?journalCODE=ijepee). Furthermore, a number of relevant/selected papers will be published in Journal of Balkan and Near Eastern Studies (http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/cjsb).

Paper abstract of about 350 to 500 words are expected by July 1st , 2012 to the addess: redete@unibl.rs. Also, abstract submission can be performed online, using the link: http://www.redete.org/registration.php. Final version of the papers should be submitted by September 20th , 2012.

At the Conference will be organized a doctorial seminar thus giving a unique opportunity for doctoral students to present their work in progress and obtain constructive and useful feedback from international experts. Also, Conference organizer is prepared best paper award for a junior researcher (1000 BAM - local currency).
