Description
Taking place at the University of Calgary Downtown Campus, Calgary, Alberta on November 15 and 16, the theme for this year's Exchange is Cultivating Creative Communities: Arts, Education and Spaces for Successful 21st Century Learning. This dynamic and interactive two-day conference will offer a highly-charged learning space for individuals and organizations that are passionate about contributing and connecting to the current theory and practice of creativity, discovery and innovation in learning. We'll bring together four keynote speakers and twelve interactive panel/workshop sessions to showcase leading practitioners, thinkers, luminaries and innovators in the field of arts, education, community development, architecture, urbanism and economic development. Together, we'll explore new ideas of how arts-in-education programs like ArtsSmarts serve as catalysts for reimagining spaces that cultivate creativity and innovation, leading to culture-led community vitality and revitalization.
