Description

The Philosophy Section of the Poznan Society of Friends of Learning, together with the Adam Mickiewicz University Philosophy Students Association, is honored to invite you to participate in the International Graduate and Post-Graduate Students Symposium entitled Identities and Modernizations – Being a Youth Matters, which will take place on 12 September 2012 in a conference room at Poznan Society of Friends of Learning, 27/29 Mielzynskiego St. in Poznan, Poland.

The aim of the symposium is to reflect on the identity transformations that are taking place in people under the age of thirty in contexts of ongoing modernizations in many spheres of human activity. A comparison and transgression of different research studies on the above-mentioned themes in the humanities and social sciences can result in a deeper, more complex understanding and explanation of developing social phenomena and structures.
