Description
By 2030 it is estimated that over 293,000 people will be employed in the European offshore wind industry compared to just over 34,000 in 2010*. With this rapid increase of employees in a young industry, the importance of ensuring personnel are working in as safe an environment as possible has never been more important.
Windpower Monthly’s inaugural Offshore Health & Safety Seminar will address some of the biggest challenges facing offshore HSE at the moment through an in-depth, interactive and practical format.
Highlights will include:
- How to effectively transpose H&S guidelines and best practice into simple and usable working documentation which is practically applicable in the working environment
- How to identify behavioural safety weaknesses in the workplace and encourage a more positive health and safety culture
- Steps and procedures for training and overcoming personnel competency challenges in the workforce whether in-house or contracted
- Latest developments and plans for current emergency response arrangements and for future Round 3 projects
