Course Description
This one-day course will provide participants with tools to identify, prioritize, and remedy wasted energy primarily in gas processing facilities, with an emphasis on inefficient and under utilized compressors, engines, refrigerant plants, cooling systems, turbines, and steam plants. The session will benefit field operations personnel with the ongoing optimization of existing systems, and will assist project engineers and technologists with cost-benefit analyses relating to capital and operating costs for capital budgets along with the selection of electric versus gas driven equipment.
*Hands-on computer simulation of the equipment will be included as part of this course. Participants should bring a laptop to the course to load simulation software. Group studies will include the optimization of key equipment using supplied software.*
A complete set of course materials and a light lunch are included.
