London Sleep Disorders Congress, in association with British Journal of Hospital Medicine and the London Sleep Centre, is a prestigious conference that will join the 5th national Sleep Disorders conference with a 2 day training course on cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia.

London Sleep Disorders Congress will bring together the leading experts in the fields of sleep medicine, psychiatry, neurology, respiratory medicine and ear, nose and throat medicine to provide updates on the current thinking and latest developments in the diagnosis and management of insomnia, snoring and sleep apnoea.

Expert chairs and speakers will include: Professor Adrian Williams, Dr Irshaad Ebrahim, Dr Chris Idzikowski, Mr Bhik Kotecha, Mr George Fayad, Dr Sophie West & Professor Anita Simmonds

We are also delighted to be joined by Professor Michael Perlis, Director of the Behavioural Sleep Medicine Program, University of Pennsylvania, USA, who will deliver our keynote address on:
‘A neurocognitive model for insomnia: 10 and 4 years on’, and will also deliver the 2 day training course on CBT for insomnia, covering the following topics:

• Definition, diagnosis and prevalence of insomnia
• Assessment of current available treatment options
• Overview of cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), including when and how to use it
