This program is designed to provide new insights to a more effective treatment of arthritis with Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA). Participants will have the opportunity to hear current views on arthroplasty from clinical and basic science points of view. It will provide surgeons with 2 full days of in-depth and relevant reconstructive surgery information in engaging formats. In all, 11 faculty will lead CME sessions. In between CME sessions, attendees have the opportunity to meet and interact with faculty and learn about new products from industry representatives on the exhibit floor.
At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
1. Identify indications for primary and revision knee arthroplasty
2. Recognize clinical results and general problems with arthroplasty techniques as well as those specific to implant materials and design
3. Evaluate new treatment options for complete Total Knee Arthroplasty and methods for diagnosis and treatment
